I am a Professor at The Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY). I teach graduate seminars for Ph.D. Program in Computer Science, MS Program in Data Science, MS Program in Data Analysis and Visualization, and MA Program in Digital Humanities. My classes cover data visualization, data science, cultural analytics, and media theory.

Between 1996 and 2012, I was a Professor of Digital Art in The Visual Arts Department at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
